Tony Ward launches his new website CPD4U.org.
CPD4U is a bespoke training, coaching and mentoring organisation founded by Tony Ward. The aim is to provide tailored solutions to suit the training and development needs of Construction, Surveying, Management and Design Professionals.
CPD4U offers face to face and distance coaching and training services for companies, individuals and professional institutions.
At CPD4U we pride ourselves on client care in order to ensure that the objectives of the organisations and individuals we support are fulfilled. Over the years we have built strong relationships with our clients which have resulted in long term alliances.
Coaching

Coaching is the art of empowering the individual to grow and develop, to question and to find answers for themselves. CPD4U offers face-to-face and web based coaching on a one-to-one basis. Typical areas of coaching include: RICS APC preparation, CIOB PDP preparation, career development and the like.

Mentoring

We have found that many companies are willing to invest in their staff however; sometimes the management do not have the time or experience to mentor and support their staff. At CPD4U we can help by offering an advice line, face to face meetings and remote support for clients and individuals who require this service.

RICS APC

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence is the process graduates are required to progress through to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Tony has been a Chartered Surveyor for many years, and during that time has carried out many tasks and roles directly for RICS and also for individuals and organisations. Tony is a Chairman and Assessor on the final assessment panel and a Preliminary Review Assessor. Tony has also written and delivered many training courses for the RICS including face-to-face and web based learning. Tony offers support, coaching and mentoring services to all those involved in the APC process from candidates to Supervisors and Counsellors.

All services are bespoke and tailored to meet the needs of the client, so whether it is a review of APC submissions documents, advice on the final assessment process, coaching and mentoring sessions, formulation of potential interview questions, etc., Tony will be happy to help.
CIOB PDP

The Chartered Institute of Building Professional Development Plan is a two year process designed to help Construction graduates achieve MCIOB status.

Tony holds two roles within this process; the first is that of a CIOB Internal Verifier, who is employed by the CIOB, to ensure that graduates achieve the standards required to progress through the process.

The second role is that of a PDP External Assessor, the role of the external assessor is to monitor and sign off candidates when they have met the required competency levels. This role is paid for by the individual or company, the advantage of using Tony for this role, is that as a CIOB Internal Verifier, he knows and understands the levels of achievement required to meet CIOB standards, this results in a smooth transition from graduate to MCIOB status.

This is an effective solution which many of our clients have benefitted from, in which we provide competency based interviews to staff with the view of establishing training and development objectives for their future development.
